About the Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Lighting Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, setting up, and operating lighting systems for live events, ensuring visually stunning and well-lit performances. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and has a keen eye for detail and creativity in lighting design.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate lighting equipment during rehearsals and live events.
- Collaborate with directors, stage managers, and technical teams to meet event lighting requirements.
- Program and control lighting consoles to execute precise lighting cues.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of lighting equipment.
- Ensure all lighting setups are completed on schedule and comply with safety regulations.
- Adapt lighting plans in real-time to accommodate changes during live events.
- Provide post-event reports and feedback on lighting performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lighting Technician or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in operating lighting consoles and equipment.
- Strong understanding of lighting design principles and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale live events or theatrical productions.
