Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and desired look.
- Provide professional haircuts, styles, and chemical treatments (coloring, perming, etc.).
- Suggest appropriate hair care products and treatments tailored to client needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools.
- Stay updated on current hair trends, techniques, and products.
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent customer service.
- Follow health and safety standards to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing salon operations when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser/Hairstylist with a diverse portfolio of work.
- Proficiency in various hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
- Knowledge of hair care products and their proper usage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Certification or diploma in hairdressing from a recognized institution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with different hair types and textures.
- Advanced knowledge of hair treatments, including keratin treatments and extensions.
- Background in bridal or special event hairstyling.
